A Lashkar-e-Toiba militant involved in the killing of a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur recently was among two terrorists killed, while three security personnel were injured in an encounter in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.
The encounter broke out on Saturday morning after the security forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area, following inputs about the presence of terrorists there.
